New York, I Love You!

New York city is by far my favorite city in the world! I am lucky enough to visit this amazing city at least five times a year. Every time I go to New York I find something new to do.  But, here are few things that I LOVE to do in the city every time I visit: Brunch at Sarabeth’s. A must! The ambiance is perfect, the food is delicious, and the mimosas make everything better. Visit American Kennels on 61st and Lexington Ave. I love the puppies! I get all my puppies from this marvelous place, and every time I go I want to take another baby home. Eat at the ”big three” as my mom calls it: Balthazar, Buddakan & Serafina. Walk through Central Park. Go party in the Meatpacking District. In my opinion the best place to meet up with friends and go bar-hopping Eat Sprinkles cupcakes. They are delicious and they have an ATM so why not haha Shop in Bloomingdales! Heaven on earth, as always. Eat a Hotdog in the …

Let’s Go Surfing!

Who said surfing was easy? haha We’ll… it’s not! Australia is known for surfing, so naturally I signed up for a 1-hour class in Bondi Beach. I couldn’t go back home thinking I didn’t surf or at least tried to surf. 1) Bondi Beach is the perfect beach to learn how to surf The waves in Bondi Beach are very calm, but they give you the perfect push beginners need. 2) Suit up! 3) Sign the “If a shark attacks you, It’s not our fault!” form 4) The instructor will explain you how to properly stand up in the surf board 5) “Why is this board SO BIG AND HEAVY?” 6) I wasn’t able to stand up for at 35 minutes… 7) I (finally) catch my first wave After 40 minutes… 8) “This is harder than it looks” 9) It’s safe to conclude that surfing is not my thing haha 10) But hey, at least I tried! This was the longest hour of my life. I wish I had more time to “practice” haha PS: …

Flyboarding – The Sport of the Future

Feeling like you are flying on a board it’s awesome! The instructors will help you set up the board, and then they will tell you what to do in order to stand up. Honestly, the explanation was completely useless for me. Once you get in the water and the watercraft gives you the power, your body will adapt to the impulse. At first is very hard to get up. You will probably stand up for 4 seconds, and that will feel like an accomplishment. After 10 minutes, your body will completely understand how it works. This is when you are going to have fun, you will be able to reach a higher height and remain in the air for multiple minutes. In my opinion, you should book the one-hour class. Half an hour is too little, and two hours is too long. After 45 minutes you will feel VERY tired and sore. You will probably use muscles you didn’t know they exist! If you own a GoPro camera you should definitely bring it. At first …
