12 Things I Learned in 2015

Think about those 10 minutes before the New Year rings the night of New Year’s Eve… Everyone is getting ready for the countdown, the glasses of champagne are being filled, the phone signal is always jammed and everyone is just very excited to welcome the New Year. Everyone at the party starts to discuss their own new year’s resolutions, their new goals and sacrifices. If you are like me, you’re probably going to stick to them, but we all know the majority of people are just talking bullshit haha

Every year I have THAT “This is going to be my year!” feeling… but last year’s New Year’s Eve was different. Instead, I had the “This year is going to be OK!” feeling. If you are reading this, you are probably going to say “%&*$* is she talking about?”

Yes, I traveled the world and it was amazing. But, I forget to make a life when I wasn’t traveling. You see, when I wasn’t traveling I was working my full-time job while pursing my masters degree and blogging. AKA, I had no time for anything else!

2015 taught me a lot! Here’s what I learned during this past year:

January | Trips are better when they are planned, but much better when they are not!

February | Everything we want we can have if we work hard

March | Be spontaneous, but careful!

April | Quantity is important, but quality is vital

May | All-nighters are hard and dreadful, but not impossible to achieve

June | Always be there for the people you love

July | Crying doesn’t fix anything, but helps you realize how much you can handle

August | The most beautiful thing is the world is, of course, the world itself

September | Not all once-in-a-lifetime opportunities should be taken

October | Don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself

November | Secrets are not secrets once you tell them

December | Even though time flies, there’s always time to do everything you want
