Barcelona, We Meet Once Again!

Last month, I graduated from my masters! (Hallelujah!). I attended La Salle – Universitat Ramon LLul in Barcelona, Spain so naturally I flew all the way to Spain from Miami just to attend my graduation ceremony, receive my diploma and wonder around the street of Barcelona. Did I mention that my entire master was 100% online?   In the year 2012, I visited my friend Juan Camilo in Barcelona who was in college at the time. Along with a couple of my best friends, we toured the entire city, chilled at the beach while sipping sangria, admired Gaudi’s splendid work that radiates nothing but beautiful vivid colors that easily captures your attention. And of course, at night we enjoyed Barcelona’s great night life.   One thing I’ve learned from my experience traveling the world is that no matter how many times you visit a new city, there’s always something new to see or do. Just because you’ve been before, doesn’t mean you have to do the same activities all over again. For this reason, I …

The Struggle of Getting Your Picture Taken When Traveling Solo

One thing I noticed when traveling solo for the first time was that people SUCK at taking pictures. Before this trip I thought everyone knew how to take a picture, but it proved me wrong. It’s the year 2016, doesn’t everything revolved around taking pictures and posting them on social media? haha To all the bad photographers out there, this is for you. Please make sure the monument appears in the photo! Lol” Mariella: Hi! Is there any chance you could take a quick picture? | Tourist: Yes! *grabs camera and points at the view without me in it.   “Dear tourist, If I ask you to take a picture it’s because I want myself to be included …

Unlike many countries in Europe, there are a lot of business that do not take any kind of credit cards. Cash only! Usually long tours give you some extra time to have lunch, go to bathroom, drink a beer etc. around half way through the tour. In my case, we went to a café located in the middle of the park. Sadly, I couldn’t order anything because I had zero cash. It’s crazy to think that some people don’t believe in credit cards! Haha I never have cash. via GIPHY Tip # 2 – Book your stay at the Radisson Blu Berlin. Although somewhat expensive, The Radisson Blu in Berlin is the coolest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The first thing you see when you enter the beautiful lobby is the giant fish tank in the middle of …
