12 Things I Learned in 2017

As the year comes to an end, I can only say this: wow. Where did time go?

They say you learn something new every day of your life, so here are twelve things I learned throughout the year:

January | There are two kinds of people in this world: the smart ones and the stupid ones.
February | The world is not going anywhere - There’s time to see it all.
March |Everything starts with the decision to try… THIS. IS. IT!
April |If you could be a kid for one more day, what would you do?
May | If someone is strong enough to bring you down, show them you are strong enough to get back up.
June | It’s never too late to learn (or relearn) something new. Parlez vous Francaise?
July | The secret to being happy? Just be.
August | There are some people in life that make you laugh a little louder, smile a little bigger and live just a little bit bitter.
September | Home is where the heart is.
October | Sometimes we forget how lucky we are to have food on our plates every day  and a home to go to when the day is over. Thank you God for allowing me to have access to basic needs.
November | It’s all up to you. Create  the life you envisioned - Simply make it happen.
December | If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be. Wait to see what the future holds.
