Skydiving – Jump Numero Dos!

Ok so yesterday was my 23rd Birthday and decided to celebrate it my own way, Skydiving of course! We had a blast jumping off a plane. We woke up very early in the morning and head over to Skydive Miami in Homestead, FL! As soon as we checked-in, they made us watch a safety video explaining all the risks. But it was SO FUNNY because the guy on the video had a very funny and long beard. Santa Claus is an idiot next to this guy haha I couldn’t stop laughing. Anyways, then they gave us the contracts that basically tells you that if you die jumping off the plane its not their responsibility. All I could think was “I don’t have health insurance” HAHA The funny part about this is that we were expecting to jump the lowest height and get the cheapest photo & video package, for some reason we got convinced to jump the highest height and buy the most expensive package lol. The lowest jump was 20 seconds free fall vs. …

Live from the Red Carpet! The Fabulous Script Takes The SAG Awards 2015

This past weekend I had the opportunity to attend the Screen Actors Guild Awards. How this happened? My friend Fernando, the luckiest guy in the world, won four front row tickets bidding on the Internet. So cool right? Next thing I knew, I was on a plane to LA. Here are the highlights of our adventure: 1. The moment we realized our front row seats were behind the fashion police booth. Did you catch us on E!? 2. When Kit Harington (Jon Snow, GOT) promised he would sign an autograph and never did lol 3. When Nikolaj Coster (Jamie Lannister, GOT) signed an autograph for us 4. Then, we almost hit him with the GoPro haha. Oops? 5.When Reese Witherspoon was this close. Yes, she signed an autograph. 6. When Mcsteamy (Eric Dane) was standing next to us and we didn’t recognize him. Nooooo!! Why God Why? 7. When Meryl Streep waved at us. Perfection! 8. When Ethan Hawke told us the GoPro selfie stick was “cool”, and then did this little “dance” 9. Oh …

The Color Run | #Happiest5K

60 Thoughts I Had During The Color Run Ok! I’m ready. I can do this. 5K is nothing. I’m going to kill it! My first “race”… This is cool. I feel cool… Ok… I am ready for the paint. Where is the paint? Look at all these lazy people walking. Shame on you! Ok… that seven year old runs faster than I do. Maybe I should run a little faster? Damm I’m getting tired. Why Christel runs so fast? Maybe because she is tall? Wait, maybe I’m running too slow. Do I suck? How can that big girl run faster than me? Seriously is this a joke? Yup! I definitely suck. Are we there yet? Oh Yay the first color! How is it going to be? People throw you the paint? WHAT? Where are the cool machines that throw you the paint? I feel ripped off. Wait, this is awesome! WOOOO EW the paint got in my mouth. HAHA Christel has paint in her teeth. BUAHAHA I won’t tell her. Maybe I should tell her? …

Flyboarding – The Sport of the Future

Feeling like you are flying on a board it’s awesome! The instructors will help you set up the board, and then they will tell you what to do in order to stand up. Honestly, the explanation was completely useless for me. Once you get in the water and the watercraft gives you the power, your body will adapt to the impulse. At first is very hard to get up. You will probably stand up for 4 seconds, and that will feel like an accomplishment. After 10 minutes, your body will completely understand how it works. This is when you are going to have fun, you will be able to reach a higher height and remain in the air for multiple minutes. In my opinion, you should book the one-hour class. Half an hour is too little, and two hours is too long. After 45 minutes you will feel VERY tired and sore. You will probably use muscles you didn’t know they exist! If you own a GoPro camera you should definitely bring it. At first …

Should you go Skydiving? Hell Yes!

Jumping off a plane feels great. If you have the opportunity to go skydiving do it. Here are some things you need to know before going skydiving: Don’t be afraid of the safety form. It basically tells you that you are going to die the moment you jump off the plane. It is expensive. And, it’s more expensive if you include pictures in your package. (Which you should totally do, since you will want prove that you jumped off a plane) If you own a GoPro make sure to bring it! Although, some companies might tell you that you need to buy the photo/video package if you bring your own camera. If you can drive yourself to the skydiving place, do it. Some companies offer to pick you up and then drop you off but you might have to wait 5 hours until all the people who signed up to skydive jumps. And finally, pick a place that has an amazing view! If you are an adrenaline freak you should totally consider going skydiving! Jumping …
