Photographic Proof That Greece Has The Best Sunsets

Life is full of beauty, is up to us to find it… I feel so peaceful every time I look at the pictures I took in Greece. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sunset this beautiful! Stunning sunset views, whether you are in Athens or in Santorini, the views are simply unbelievable. When you experience something so simple, yet so mesmerizing it allow us to reflect on the things we take for granted. Think about it: for locals in Santorini, they watch the same spectacular sunset every day. Do you think they appreciate it? or simply ignore it? – Mariella Athens Mykonos Santorini About The Author Mariella Molestina Noboa The art of saying “Yes!” can take you far away. Many people pass on opportunities for many reasons, one of them being fear. Through my life I’ve encounter many people that forget to live the present for something that might not even happen in the future. If you are constantly waiting for the right time to finally do something, like fulfill your life dream, you …

Riding a Donkey in Santorini

What a hilarious experience! It’s going to get good. Here’s my story:   I always heard that Santorini had the option of riding a donkey like local greeks did back in the day. You know before motorcycles and other motorized vehicles took over the world? Anyways, I never actually considered it but once I was there I said: “Oh what the hell! Let’s just go.”   I was convinced it was going to be a fun experience, so riding a donkey it is! We asked for directions and the souvenir store lady told us: “Keep walking ahead, you’ll start to smell them!”   Smell them? I didn’t understand at first. “Thank you so much!” I replied. We kept walking and out of the sudden we start to smell this disgusting (yet so weird) smell. “Omg please don’t tell me that’s how the Donkey’s smell?” I thought.   Of course they smelled disgusting. There are at least 60 donkeys just waiting in line eating and pooping everywhere… It was funny! “Let’s just do it. We are …

Santorini in 30 Epic Pictures

What can I say about Santorini? When a place is this beautiful, just take a deep breath and take a moment to realize that you are about to discover one of the most beautiful places in the world. As soon as I got off the ferry, I looked up towards the sky and couldn’t believe how tall the rocks were. Did you know Santorini was built on top of the island’s volcanic rock? Fira and Oia are Santorini’s main towns you must visit. Both towns are just breathtaking! My hotel was located in the heart of Fira, but I wish I stayed in Oia at least one night to experience what it’s like to live in one of Santorini’s traditional houses. Each town has it’s own architectural gem! A similar taste but different at the same time. The construction of the houses comes from the same idea, but built differently. The golden hour is something you don’t want to miss. If you can, admire the sunset every day. The view is just breathtaking! I’ve never …

What To Eat In Greece: Cooking Class!

Enhance your culinary experience by ordering the most delicious and traditional Greek dishes. During my visit, I made sure I ordered a menu items from the traditional Greek cuisine menu section. Nothing quite like a happy belly after a long day of sightseeing! I learned that Greeks always welcome you to their home with something sweet accompanied with a drink and a big smile! This delicious treat pictured here is called Greek Delight. I am a horrible cook, I barely know how to pour cereal in my bowl without messing it up haha but recently I developed an interest for learning how to cook my own meals.  I was really excited to take a traditional Greek cuisine class! Cooking classes are great to learn in-depth about the Greek culture and their unique customs at home. If you have the opportunity to take a cooking session wherever you are in the world, do it! My experience at Teta’s home was amazing. What an amazing host! Every day Teta opens her lovely home to travelers around the …
