Life is full of beauty, is up to us to find it… I feel so peaceful every time I look at the pictures I took in Greece. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a sunset this beautiful! Stunning sunset views, whether you are in Athens or in Santorini, the views are simply unbelievable. When you experience something so simple, yet so mesmerizing it allow us to reflect on the things we take for granted. Think about it: for locals in Santorini, they watch the same spectacular sunset every day. Do you think they appreciate it? or simply ignore it? – Mariella Athens Mykonos Santorini About The Author Mariella Molestina Noboa The art of saying “Yes!” can take you far away. Many people pass on opportunities for many reasons, one of them being fear. Through my life I’ve encounter many people that forget to live the present for something that might not even happen in the future. If you are constantly waiting for the right time to finally do something, like fulfill your life dream, you …

Honoring Mom

This week is very important for me. Not only its my mom’s birthday today, but this upcoming Sunday is Mother’s Day.  That’s why I decided to honor my mom with this thank you letter: Three years ago my mom and I made a pact: Every year we will take a mother-daughter only trip. The tradition started in 2014, and since then we make sure to take our yearly trip. Traveling with my mom is the best. She is by far the best travel partner someone could ever have. The first time we visited Australia and New Zealand. The following year we felt more adventurous and traveled to Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. Last year we opter for something more relaxing so we decided to visit Greece. Here’s why my Mom the best travel buddy: 1. Because she makes sure every picture she takes of me  is just the way I wanted it to be. 2. Because she always makes sure we do all the activities I want to do. (even if she’s not included.) 3. Because …

Taking A Moment To Think About Life

Earlier today my friend Juan Camilo and I had the chance to reflect on the reason behind our crazy and adventurous lifestyles. Our lifestyles are very similar, there’s no denying it. We both travel the world, seek adventure and learning is our passion and ultimate goal. But why are we this way? Why not just settle in one place, raise a family and be just like other people in today’s society? Here’s why. Looking back, I can say with complete confidence that the moment one of our closest friend past away changed my life forever. Without notice, she was gone in one blink. As traumatic and sad this tragic event affected our lives, I’ve come to realize that this is what changed my perspective towards living everyday like it’s the last one. One day my friend was alive, and the next one she was gone. This eye-opening experience taught me (the hard way) that no one has their life guaranteed. Yes, we all want to grow old and live a long life. Maybe that’s what …

A Year In Review 2016: “The year of Europe”

FACTS: I traveled 10 countries, seven countries were visited for the first time. I took a total of 51 planes in 2016, that counts for 59,964 air miles. (Including layovers) Click here to view larger map. The year has officially come to an end and I did not only met all my travel goals, but exceeded them all. In last year’s end of review post, A Year in Review: 2015, the year I crossed 7 countries off my bucket list , I said I wanted to visit more cities in  countries I’ve previously visited before rather than focusing on increasing the number of countries. Again, that was just an idea. Instead, I crossed seven countries off my bucket list this year. Here’s a quick recap: I visited seven countries I’ve never been to, I broke my foot, I experienced what is to travel solo, got my Digital Marketing master’s degree, I mastered the art of booking flights and hotel rooms for very cheap, gained ten pounds, I lost ten pounds, got a promotion at work (Yay!), …
